The term Approach refers to the implementation of one or several Technologies, that can be part of an indigenous or traditional system (more than 50 years).
The term Approach can also refer to a spontaneous adoption/ adaptation based on individual initiative.
But the Approach may have been introduced through a project or programmes that also introduced SLM Technologies.
