This 15-minute video presentation is an appeal to decision-makers to support rural communities in their efforts to manage their water supplies. The video states that governments cannot leave rural communities with the full responsibility for the management of their water supplies. Governments possess the power and the means to provide the support that communities need. The Seventh Video was made for decisions makers, but contains many interesting issues for everyone concerned with rural water supply, such as the organisational problems regarding water management and gender issues. The video is based on material provided by IRC partners in Nepal, Pakistan, Cameroon, Kenya, Colombia and Guatemala.
